26.09.2010 - Swiss Tanker Management receives the AMVER award
We are proud to announce that Swiss Tanker Management has received AMVER award http://www.amver.com for its participation and contribution to AMVER search & rescue system. The award and ceremony took place in Geneva on the 14th of September 2010.
M/T WO Devocean, the participating vessel, has been awarded the Certificate of Merit.
The AMVER, which stands for "Automated Mutual Assistance Vessel Rescue System", sponsored by the United States Coast Guard, is a computer-based voluntary global ship reporting system used worldwide by search and rescue authorities to arrange for assistance to persons in distress at sea.
